The story of the day. Today I went out to look for a cage for my birds. I got 4 love birds for free. A cousin of mine had bring birds here for us to look after and for my children to entertain. Oh yes, my four children was very excited to see the birds and very much like to take care of the love birds. Now it adds to their list of TO DO. Anyway, back to the other part of my story. Today I drive around to town and hoping my mind clearing out. I feel not really happy. Sad a bit I may say, but the driving was not helping me to get rid off the feeling of sadness. Later on I bring my four children for outing and Arthur for his haircut. What do I feel today is a bit of sadness. I feel sad that we are apart from my husband Siemon. We got home the feeling is still the same. The outing and driving is not helping me except when I am with my children to keep on chasing them, talking to them, and yet my mind still thinking and wonder. I wonder why. I got home and look at the pictures I took. I find my flowers like smiling. Flower is like a child. Flower is good entertainment of our emotion. I learn that flower is a nice friend, nice entertainment and helping you out of anger. Flowers help you smile, make you alive. Flower is a wonderful kind. Sometimes you wonder to think of being a flower. Does it help?!! A funny thought sometimes of human idea. I wonder to have a mind of a flower, it seems flower has no problem. It seems the flower has the smile at all times. Silly thought! But the flower does has the sensitivity, they needed friends too. Without friends they will never survive. Flower is a friend of human, animals, insects, flies and birds and all nature around it.

Flower is a lovely thing. Flower gives power of life.

Oh, flower gives you smile. It lights up when the sun is up,

It close when the sun is down.

Tomorrow is another day for the flower.

Flower goes on when her friends are there.

The story of this plant. This plant is a tree that grows along the side of the seashore. They thought this will not grow far from the sea. Well, I have number of seeds from this as you can see above that is the seed of this flower. I find this an interesting plant. A plant that is a tree growing. The local people called this tree as BITU-ON. Bitu-on means a star. I wonder why they called this a star? So I asked but nonthing really knows why. Strange and funny. I will keep asking this next time I see this tree again. This gives a unique flower. Once the flower is gone it turn to a big seed that I used for seedling. I have number of growing seedling in my pot here in my garden. I will still try to find a location where I can plant this plant that one day will become a tree. Another plant that I need to know and search the origin.

One of the orchid flower here. This is not origin in the Philippines. The name of this orchid they called it here is Banda Orchid, and it is hybrid. I tried to search in the internet but right now my connection is so slow. When I will find it I will attach the information next time about this orchid.

Fortune Flower is the name but I am still checking if this is the right name. It has a very nice small flowers as we can see. It flowers seasonal.

This is magic flower they called here in single version. This flower never stop flowering every day, it is like never ending story. It feels nice when I go round to my flowers, it relax your mind. This color is pink, very lovely pink color so lively.

Lovely Flowers is the title of my blog. Sounds nice! But funny to think about that so little I know about flowers of the Philippines especially names, and local names very little I know. Now, I learn that it is very important for me to know names of every flowers I already collected in my garden. I find this funny that I know a bit more about flowers in Sweden than here in the Philippines. Well, the difference in Sweden every flower shop you go they know names of the flowers they sale and every display has each name mark on it. Seeds you need has complete details and information. Most people in Sweden in your neighborhood has garden and they know what they planted. While here in the Philippines so little chance to search name of every plants you wanted to know. And, basically I think they love to give names of the plants from their own thoughts and idea.

When I was young I already love flowers. I guess I got this and learn from my mother. And in addition to my marriage life and live in Sweden I learn a bit more about flowers and loving it, take care it with the help of my father-in-law who knows a lot about plants and flowers. He teach me to understand and learn to know every plants or flowers. And now, I become a lover of flowers. Now, I am here in the Philippines I wanted to learn a bit more about the flowers here, collecting them and to know the names of every flowers I collect.

I hope every person who open my blog and know about the flowers I show will help me to know the names that would be a great help to me. Thank you and enjoy my flowers is just now started.

First flower has two colors, purple and white. This flower start white and after few days change to purple until gets old.

Second flower has reddish color and has different structure of each petal of the flower.

Third flower has yellow color and has white hanging (sort of tail).

These 3 flowers I have no idea the name. I ask my father-in-law to help me to search names of every flowers I send to him.

And, I am still looking and searching. Here in the Philippines they create their own name of the flowers and each has different from every person.
